Beginner / Intermediate Bridge

 Bridge Basics 1, a six week cource providing an introduction to those who never played bridge before, or
 re-introducing bridge to those returning to bridge after an absence, will be scheduled in April 2007. Please contact our bridge club for more information.


Re-enforce concepts learned in Bridge Basics 1 by bidding and playing out hands. Thursdays at 7:15 p.m. Please contact BCCNJ to confirm schedule. Cost: $12 per person.

Bridge Basics 2 - Competive Bidding, will begin February 12, 2008. Tuesday nights at 7:15 p.m., the series of six lessons will emphasize Competitive Bidding. Topics include: Pre-Emptive Openings (and Responses), Overcalls and Take-Out Doubles (and Advances), as well as Responding to Opening Bids after an Opponent's Overcall. Cost: $90.00 per person for the series of 6 lessons, plus $12.00 book.

Supervised Play For Newcomers

Gain confidence in your bridge skills through practice and discussion while you're playing and earning masterpoints. Learn how to make better decisions at the table.
  • For players with less than 20 masterpoints.
  • Thursday evenings: 7:00PM to 9:30PM
  • Fridays: 11:00AM to 2:00PM
  • Cost: $12.00 per session.
Free Mini-Lessons:

BCCNJ offers mini-less free to those who play at games that follow, on Mondays at 11AM, Tuesdays at 11AM, Wednesdays at 6:15PM and Thursdays at 11AM. Topics and skill levels vary depending upon the students attending.
